My Cape Town competition finalists

In celebration of World Tourism Month, Cape Town Tourism launched a Flickr competition called “My Cape Town”, asking people to enter images which they thought epitomised Cape Town.

With a prize of R15 000, the entries rolled in. The judges had their work cut out for them, sorting through the 520 entries showing Cape Town’s beautiful landscapes, its quirky culture and of course its people.

But there can only be one winner. Our judges have managed to narrow the field down to 20 – the rest is up to you. All you need to do now is vote for the image that best epitomises Cape Town.

To make the voting as fair as possible, we’re limiting it to one person, one vote. Please do not attempt to vote more than once. Duplicate votes will be eliminated and the judges’ decision will be final.

We’re asking for your name, phone number, and email address only so that we’re able, if necessary, to double check you’re human. We promise not to use your details for any other purpose whatsoever. Thank you so much for your vote and for your co-operation.

Voting closes at 5pm South African time (GMT +2) on Wednesday October 14, 2009.
