Muizenberg stroll – Flickr pic of the day
Says Ben, "This shot was taken during my time in Cape Town where I worked as a volunteer at the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve. Cape Town is the place I discovered photography as a favourite hobby."
Muizenberg is the start of a vast white sand beach that stretches all the way to Gordon’s Bay. The water is much warmer to swim in here than at the beaches on the Atlantic Seaboard. It is also a popular surfing spot, although the waves aren’t enormous so it’s ideal for body-boarders and novices.
