In what is sure to be yet another outrageously fabulous event, the Mother City Queer Project brings their annual MCQP party to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on Saturday December 17, 2011.

This year’s fantastic theme is Maid In China, a play on the house maid theme, as well as a homage to plastic mass-produced items, and with guests expected to dress up as Bruce Lee Barbies, feather duster-wielding gayshas and more, the CTICC is set to turn into the new Chinatown.

The Chinese extravaganza boasts an impressive entertainment line-up with nine dance floors, a delicious Asian food court and Zen lounge, and top acts including Good Luck, Crazy White Boy, The Commercial Hippies, Killer Robot, Pascal & Pearce, and DJ Ryan Dent.

Bloggers who want to update their followers about the evening’s flamboyant proceedings can do so from the Blogger’s Room with WIFI access while the young at heart will revel in the activities and rides at the Chinese Carnival space.

Now in its 18th year, this fancy dress party is the Mother City’s biggest lifestyle event and attracts more than 8 000 straight and gay party animals each year.

Tickets are selling like Chinese rice cakes so get them now at Computicket. For more information about MCQP, please visit www.mcqp.co.za
