Cape Town penguins – Flickr pic of the day

This charming picture capturing penguin behaviour was captured by our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member Grant Johnson aka The Mule in the Pool.

Grant says, “I love the huge variety of photo opportunities available less than an hour from my front door, from traders in Greenmarket Square, to wildflowers on the west coast, to penguins, seals and baboons on the Peninsula.

“Every 30-minute excursion is an opportunity that others would gladly travel a dozen hours to see.”

Fancy yourself as a bargain hunter? Cape Town is renowned for its markets – and Greenmarket Square and Milnerton Flea Market are fun places to hunt down bargains.

If nature trails are more in line with your interests, take a guided walk in the mountains with the organisation Baboon Matters and spend time watching the wild chacma baboons.

Do you have images of Cape Town you’d like to share with us? We’d love you to join the Cape Town. Live it. Love it. Flickr group!
