Loerie Awards 2011: Sunday night in pictures
The final night of the Loerie Awards 2011 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) was exhilarating to say the least. On top of a few of big winners – Cape Town’s HelloComputer and FOXP2 took home multiple coveted gold statuettes (HelloComputer also walked away with the night’s only Grand Prix award) – tonight, the feisty advertising, digital and television crowd was treated to none other than David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff, who was the night’s very entertaining MC. The Hoff was met by a standing ovation, which erupted along with the familiar theme tune of Baywatch. All photos by Ingrid Sinclair.

Once again it was glitz, glamour and free beer on the CTICC’s lush red carpet.

So, who did frame Roger Rabbit ..? This beautiful singer was kitted out in a you-have-see-it-to-believe-it Jessica Rabbit outfit.

Allan Gray Marketing Manager Tracy Hirst and Cape Town architect Mokena Makeka were both winners tonight.
Cape Town’s HelloComputer took home the night’s only Grand Prix award for their groundbreaking in-store, interactive product-browsing interface for Musica.
