This South African fur seal, a common site at the V&A Waterfront, was caught relaxing by our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member Joanne.
Joanne says, “The summer returned for the weekend and I decided to play the tourist for the afternoon, sauntering around the V&A Waterfront.
“That meant taking a boat trip, nipping into an African art shop, licking an ice-cream while listening to a local band, and enjoying a glass of local wine.
“I also took in the view towards the new Green Point Stadium and the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. Ah, to be in Cape Town when summer is there!”
The V&A Waterfront is South Africa’s most visited destination – a combination of shops, restaurants, nightspots, tourist attractions and museums in the city’s historic harbour which attracts millions of visitors a year.
