Keith Jenkins of @velvetescape says Cape Town is his second home

Keith Jenkins left a career in banking to become a fulltime traveller. He shares his experiences with upward of 15 000 twitter followers @velvetescape and blogs about his journeys at velvetescape.com.

Keith has been activley blogging his experiences about the city which he says feels like a second home. Keith has been exploring Cape Town’s historic, culinary and design scene; enjoying the Mother City's natural beauty by hiking to the top of the Table Mountain and Cape Point; cycling around our townships; and discovering suggested hidden gems such as Hout Bay, Boulders Beach and Penguin colony, Simon's Town and asking his followers whether he should go shark diving.
