Kalk Bay at night – Flickr pic of the day

This photograph of Kalk Bay at night was taken by our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member Craig Strachan aka Craig is shooting.
Craig says: “Kalk Bay has been a fishing port and harbour since the 1700s, and today it still retains some of its old-world charm. The active small-boat fishing industry supports many local shops and restaurants, and you can go down to the harbour to negotiate the price of a freshly caught fish.
“This particular picture was shot from the harbour wall, looking across the harbour toward the main road. Kalk Bay is a great place to just visit, or to eat at one of the lovely restaurants in the harbour.”
