Bobbing boats at Hout Bay Harbour

This photograph, of boats silently bobbing in Hout Bay Harbour, was taken by our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member John Maarschalk aka Just John.

John says, “This photo was taken at Hout Bay Harbour, one very calm, still night. This was a slightly long exposure and there wasn’t too much movement in this shot. Of the many photos I took that night, this was the only one that had most of the boats fairly crisp. I didn’t realise how much they were moving about, even without the naked eye.”
