According to a number of news sources, including the Business Standard and ESPN,  Cricket South Africa (CSA) has already sold most of the available South African IPL tickets.

ESPN is reporting that the first game, to be played at Newlands in Cape Town on April 18, is completely sold out. An article in the online edition of the Indian Business Standard claims that 70% of available tickets across the South African venues have been sold.

“According to a top CSA executive, the remaining tickets for IPL matches, mostly those priced between R25 and R75, are likely to be sold out in the next two weeks,” the article continues.

Fans are encouraged to book early, through the Computicket website,  to avoid disappointment. Also, check out Cape Town Tourism’s exclusive IPL specials for deals on accommodation and activities during the IPL series in Cape Town.
