Inside the Travel Lab #Love(s)CapeTown
Born and bred in Cape Town, Rob Peters is part-time runner and a full-time dad, who operates on far too little sleep, and way too much coffee.
A thrill-seeker at heart, and always on the lookout for the next challenge, Rob loves nothing more than throwing himself into the unknown and writing about the results, which are seldom very pretty. Now, as the Content Creator for Cape Town Tourism, he plans on cracking open the Mother City and seeing what makes her tick, by hitting every event, activity and hot-spot that is humanly possible and thus finally realising his destiny of becoming the world’s greatest social butterfly…
Our #LoveCapeTown blogger, Abigail King , has been in Cape Town for a little over a week now experiencing our hometown through the eyes of locals, from the City Centre and Bo Kaap to Langa and Masiphumelele.
Some of Abi’s highlights include:
In Camps Bay: Baby blue at Camps Bay where some go to seek sun & others to shelter from it #lovecapetown #capelab
Nearing Cape Point: Cloud shadows crawl across the mountains in the Cape #capelab #lovecapetown
Abi’s also made mention of her luxurious accommodation, provided by Nox Rentals:
Fresh pink n lime, skulls & a standing bath. My new @NoxRentals digs #lovecapetown #capelab (Nox Rentals View/ Nox Rentals interior
And some her delish restaurant experiences, like:
Djembe drumming at GOLD Restaurant
And a fresh seafood dish at The Alphen Boutique Hotel
Read her first impressions of Cape Town on her blog.
Today, our #lovecapetown bloggers are on a visit to the V&A Waterfront for a walking tour around the Mother City’s oldest working harbour.Look out for posts about today’s trip by following #LoveCapeTown on Twitter.
