Test-drive the Mother City: how we can help you get around Cape Town

Pop into one of our Visitor Information Centres and let our friendly staff help you find your way around Cape Town

There really is no end to the appeal of Cape Town’s diverse heritage, cuisine and natural wonders. Whether your itinerary is for business or leisure, it's impossible to fit everything into a single trip – so you'll have to visit our Mother City again to experience the rest!

But you can test-drive Cape Town now by playing our Facebook game. When you sign your profile up for a five-day virtual trip to Cape Town, it gets a boarding pass and daily updates with photos of where it went, ate and stayed. While your profile is playing – and sharing – you could win a fantastic spot prize! And at the end of December, we’re picking a winner who will take home a REAL five-day trip to Cape Town for two.

Other great ways to get to know Cape Town are via our website and Toolkit. Explore pages on the different aspects of Cape Town, or register as a user and choose to see information specific to your requirements only. Download our Visitor’s Guide 2012 online, orientate yourself with maps of the area and download additional route maps and itineraries that will take you on themed journeys through the Mother City.

Visit the Events page for a list of upcoming events in Cape Town, and keep coming back to the blog for fun stuff, pic of the day posts and news on what’s happening in Cape Town every week.

If you are here already, come into a Visitor Information Centre. We are always eager to share info on our beloved, inspirational city: Cape Town. Be sure to pick up a few brochures for further reading later on, and ask us to assist you in booking accommodation, tours and activities … it’s all about what you want to uncover!

Give us a call on +27 (0)861 322 223 if you ever have any queries, or you can email info@capetown.travel if you have a bit more lead time.
