Cool Britannia parties at the Cape Town Convention Centre are quickly becoming one of the highlights of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. The month-long music festival will feature acts like Fatboy Slim, Die Antwoord and DJ Fresh, but tonight South African artist Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) will take to the stage.
Born and raised in Mafikeng, HHP is South African through and through, but the 29 year old also has major international appeal. He won an award for the BET Best International Act in May 2010 and has collaborated with global superstars like Nas and Wyclef Jean.
HHP will headline the Cool Britannia party tonight after Italy takes on Paraguay at Cape Town Stadium. Tonight’s other performers include Steve Sutherland and Liquideep.
The party has already started at the CTICC so get down there as soon as you can! Food and drinks are available and all of today’s matches will be screened live. A day-night pass for today costs R150 and can be bought through Computicket, at Shoprite Checkers or from www.coolbritanniasa.com.
