Can you smell the delicious aromas in the air? Are you salivating in anticipation of unbelievable treats? Then you’re ready for the ever popular Taste of Cape Town festival!

Now in its fourth year, the festival will be held at the gorgeous Green Point Cricket Club from May 5 - 8. Food connoisseurs can expect to feast on only the best dishes and wines from top restaurants like Societi Bistro, Taj Cape Town, La Mouette and more.

From authentic Thai cooking shows at the Spekko Taste of Thailand stand, where members of the audience will receive a fantastic goodie bag, to the Pick n Pay Wine and Canapé Experience where you can learn to make your own delicious canapés, the festival promises to be fantastic.

See the city’s top chefs in person and get some answers to your most burning gourmet questions at a live Q&A session at the Pick n Pay Fresh Living Chef’s Theatre, or master the art of brewery at the outdoor Grolsch Beer Academy.

Sponsors of this tantalising event include Pick n Pay, Orbit Chewing Gum, DStv and the Cape Times, and many will be running amazing competitions at their respective stands so remember to enter them.

With the festival’s very special currency, “crowns”, you can buy those tasty sample meals and drinks from the exhibitors you desire most. Crowns are available at the festival or can be purchased with your tickets at Computicket.

The Taste of Cape Town kicks off a month of other irresistible gourmet events in the Mother City. Be sure to satisfy your hunger pangs at the Good Food & Wine Show, the Riebeek Valley Olive Festival and the Gugulethu Wine Festival.
