Gordon’s Bay school enjoys soccer with Cape Town Tourism

Cape Town Tourism’s Gordon’s Bay office celebrated World Tourism Day by organising a soccer match for grade seven learners from Temperance Town Primary School.

The aim was to make the Gordon’s Bay community aware of the tourism office and get learners talking about tourism to their families and neighbourhood.

The children were divided into two groups to play against each other, while onlookers blew their vuvuzelas, making for a vibrant game. Afterwards, Cape Town Tourism served refreshments and posed questions to the crowd.

The afternoon’s activity was fun and the learners were excited about winning prizes. Their teacher said he appreciated the opportunity and the school would be happy to work with Cape Town Tourism again.
