Dusk in Cape Town – Flickr pic of the day
Assadmd says, “I was brought up in Kenya and studied in the Czech Republic for my medical degree, but the European climate didn’t suit me. So when it came to my postgraduate studies in orthopaedic surgery, I chose Cape Town in South Africa for its renowned universities.”
“Cape Town was definitely the right choice both for my medical training and for enjoying life. The Cape is just so beautiful, it’s a photographer’s dream. No two sunrises or sunsets are the same. Different colours fill the skies; every day is a different treat for the eyes.
“You can get into the car and whatever direction you drive in, be it Muizenberg or along Chapman’s Peak, the scenery is breathtaking, ensuring that you keep taking amazing photos. Like I said, it’s a photographer’s dream – the food, the people, the climate ... even the traffic. Everything about Cape Town is perfect.
“I love Cape Town. There is no place like this,” he adds.
