Flash Republic entertain at Cape Town FIFA Fan Fest™

South African dance act, Flash Republic, entertained some 20 000 people at the FIFA Fan Fest™ in Cape Town last night, ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ final.
The Cape Town crowd bopped to the beats of the group that has entertained around the world and had their tracks remixed by the likes of Roger Sanchez. The weather played its part, allowing for a most enjoyable final concert.
Flash Republic is made up of experienced musicians such as DJ Ryan Dent and Afro-pop singer Tamara Dey, who was formerly known as “the first lady of kwaito”. They have opened for legendary performers such as Fatboy Slim and continue to grow their musical repertoire.
Among Flash Republic’s biggest successes are singles Robot, Emergency, Gave it up for music and their biggest hit to date, Danger.
