Fazielah’s top weekend picks in Cape Town

Stay on trend with the latest fashions from the City Bowl Market on Hope. Photo courtesy City Bowl Market.

Between the cold weather, a financial course and long meetings, I have had a pretty tough week … which is why I can’t wait for my weekend entertainment.

Join me at the following events and activities from June 29 to July 1, 2012 and discover why Cape Town warms up in winter:

Winter Wonderland Festival of Lights

Gordons Bay, the seaside town on the edge of False Bay, has transformed this winter with the help of fairy lights and you can enjoy the display at the Winter Wonderland Festival of Lights this weekend.

Sip hot chocolate at a pavement fire, romance your beloved aboard the Fairy Ferry across the Old Harbour or take a tour in the Ghost House, all the while enjoying the lights draped across the town.

City Bowl Market on Hope

So much more than just an indoor market, this bazaar is also delving into the fashion arena with its Fashion Market this Saturday.

Pop in between 09h00 and 14h00 for a look at the latest trends and receive FREE entry.

Adapt or Fly

He’s back! Catch Pieter Dirk-Uys in Adapt or Fly at the Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch.

While you’re there, remember to pick up a samoosa or two from the theatre restaurant.
