Fazielah’s top three weekday picks in Cape Town
Let’s have a moment of silence for the dearly departed weekend…
Now, cast off those blues and join me at the following events from July 2 to 5, 2012, and discover why Cape Town warms up in winter:
There’s nothing I love more than hearty, tasty Cape Malay cuisine and a good musical, and Richard’s Supper Stage and Bistro in Sea Point offers both!
Fill up on the buffet (the chicken curry and samoosas are good choices) while being thoroughly entertained by the likes of Terry Smith and a gifted cast in a two-hour musical show that celebrates the humour and talent of the Mother City.

If you’re a fan of unplugged music and good beer, a visit to &Union in the City Centre this Tuesday or Wednesday would not go amiss.
With a no cover charge you can indulge in the good stuff to your heart’s content.

I have a confession to make… I’ve always wanted to run away and join the circus!
Thankfully, school learners enjoying their winter break need not go to such lengths. They can learn juggling, acrobatic, clowning and unicycling skills at the S.A.N Circus Holiday Workshop Academy in Observatory this week.
