Fazielah’s top three weekday picks in Cape Town for September 17 to 20
Fazielah Williams has lived in and loved her Mother City since birth. Having lived all over the Peninsula during her childhood, she now calls the picturesque City Bowl home and likes nothing more than watching the sun set over Table Bay from the window of her apartment.
A lover of the arts and proud Cape Town fanatic, Fazielah began her writing career by spending many hours as a child conjuring fantastical stories that featured independent heroines from faraway lands who saved the Prince instead. This Capetonian princess has enjoyed stints as a magical arts PRO and TV publicist before finding her calling as a travel writer.
When not waxing lyrical about the Fairest Cape’s most loved attractions and activities and embarking on unexpected adventures, Fazielah can usually be found taking in a show at one of the City’s fabulous theatres.
Clear skies, creativity and great food are meant to be celebrated in the Mother City.
Join me at the following events and activities from September 17 to 20, 2012:
We’re in the middle of the most artistically pleasing, innovative and imaginative event of the year: Creative Week Cape Town.
Channel your inner creative at various exhibitions, readings, film showcases and more in and around the city centre.

I am so excited that the City Bowl Market now trades twice a week!
Get down to its gorgeous Hope Street home this Thursday evening and indulge in all of your favourite treats. My personal favourite is the chicken and leek Empanadas, from Como Foods, at R15 each.
For more information, visit www.citybowlmarket.co.za.
At the end of a busy week, I deserve a special treat and the luxurious Utopia Salon at the Tsogo Sun Waterfront Hotel is just the place to get it.
My personal choice of pleasure is a full-body massage but their deluxe manicures and facials are worth a try too.
