It’s a brand spanking new week in Cape Town and boy, am I ready to take it on!

Join me at the following events and activities in the Mother City from September 10 to 13, 2012:

SANParks Week 2012

Free entry to the Table Mountain National Park, Bontebok National Park and West Coast National Park all week long? Are you serious?

Yes, nature lovers, it’s true. You can enjoy the splendour of Mother Nature at her supreme best for gratis. Just remember to take along your ID book.  While you’re there, why not try some zip-lining across the Buffeljachts Dam in Swellendam, abseiling off Table Mountain or quad biking along the West Coast?

Breakfast Special at Red Sofa Café

Since this delightful and quirky eatery opened in my neighbourhood (that’s the über-gorgeous Vredehoek), I have become somewhat of a slave to its considerable charms.

Their nutella cupcake is my greatest weakness but if you’re in need of a good hearty breakfast, you can’t go wrong with their delicious roll and coffee special for only R30.

Call +27 (0)21 461 7274 for more information.

Bench

As if Kalk Bay Theatre’s chocolate brownies weren’t enough to keep luring me back to its entertaining base, they also continuously deliver top-of-the-line productions such as comedian Brent Palmer’s new show, Bench.

In this fabulous play, Palmer and co-star Adrian Collins star as two petty thieves who ponder the wisdom of carrying out their next big heist whilst parked on a bench, with surprising consequences.

Book your tickets at www.kbt.co.za.
