The photographs were taken on the 10km route between the Grand Parade and the finish at St. George Grammar School in Mowbray. Thousands of walkers, young and old, able-bodied and disabled, braved the heat and brisk wind to enjoy the walk with family and friends under a cloudless blue sky. At the finish the tired walkers then enjoyed a picnic and entertainment by Cape Town’s finest performers, including the ever popular Three Tons of Fun.
