Facebook feedback: the best places to take kids in Cape Town

Ratanga Junction is a firm family favourite. Photo courtesy of AlexMuller

It may be a short school holiday, but kids still want to be entertained. We asked people who like our I ♥ Cape Town Facebook page for suggestions on where to take kids. This is what some of them had to say:

Most people, including Nonkululekuo Ndiweni responded with two words: Ratanga Junction

Lin Yun Tzu: Waterfront!:)

Julie Cleverdon: Cape Town Science Centre for sure! They always have great holiday programmes and it's now very easy to get to in Obs. 370b Main Road just in front of the Groote Schuur Hospital and opposite Chippies!

Daisy Burton: The Two Oceans aquarium! Hours of fun. Also Greenpoint Park has the most epic playgrounds. I couldn't resist and ended up climbing and sliding and swinging with the kids...

Zanele Benya: Absolutely love Eden on the Bay, they can bring their scooters/bikes and ride along the beach while u sit and have drinks @ the restaurants facing the beach!

Nazarene Ismail: Bugz Park.

Margaret Rich: The beach. My son likes to try a different one every day that we are visiting.

Boere Meisie: World of Birds.

Tandi Spencer-Smith Kirstenbosch for sure!

Cilliers Charl: My daughter loves scratch patch at the Waterfront.

Sharon Shaz Myburgh: Grand West.
