Durbanville sunset – Flickr pic of the day

Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member Jo-Ann Stokes aka JStokes2008 captured this sunset from a farm in Durbanville.

“I took this photo on the Spes Bona Farm in Durbanville on a beautiful summer’s evening. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful spots in the world and I am honoured to be able photograph her beauty and I will never grow tired of photographing her,” says Jo-Ann.

With picturesque avenues highlighting the Cape’s colonial history, Durbanville is noted for its historic buildings, rolling wine estates and stunning mountain views.

“There is more to Cape Town than you can imagine. We have oceans, mountains, rivers, vineyards ... If you think it, we are sure to have it. To top it off, we have a lifestyle that most people are envious of. I encourage everyone to visit Cape Town at least once, but I promise you that once you have visited you will keep returning,” she continues.
