Crystal Pools – Flickr pic of the day
Julian says, “Last year in November, I got the chance to visit a German friend who was studying for one semester at the University of Cape Town. Without hesitation another friend and I started to plan our trip to South Africa.
“We met a person who had been living in Cape Town for several months, which was great, because she could provide us with insider information and good hints on where to go and what to do.
“This photo was taken at a place called Crystal Pools, located in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve close to the N44 coast road between Gordon’s Bay and Pringle Bay. A great hiking trail along a small creek leads you to three pools connected by waterfalls.
“It is an amazing place to swim and relax and enjoy the wonders of nature.
“Cape Town and the whole Western Cape region provide such cultural and natural diversity that it is definitely worth visiting.
“I will certainly go there again,” he continues.
Do you have images of Cape Town you’d like to share with us? We’d love you to join the Cape Town. Live it. Love it. Flickr group!
