Colourful, cultural Bo-Kaap – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay
The Bo-Kaap is an area in Cape Town filled with brightly coloured houses and narrowed cobbled streets located at the foot of Signal Hill. But for all the its cheerful achitecture and facade the suburb has a rich histry, with it's people being integral to it.
It is highly regarded as the home of the Cape’s Muslim community and dates back to the 16th and 17 centuries. For more more information you can visit the Bo-Kaap Museum located in Wale Street.
