Have you done your foodie homework? Do you know the difference between a soup ladle and a whisk? Can you tell which wine accompanies which dish and whether a leg of lamb photographs better in bright light or dim? Do you know what is needed to give your Moroccan veggie dish the fragrant edge?
At the Chefs Warehouse and Cookery School in the City Centre, you will learn valuable tips and more when you attend acclaimed chef Liam Tomlin’s fantastic course, Around the World With Liam.
This tantalising course will be held once a month from August 20 to November 19. Tomlin, a multi award-winning chef and founder of the cookery school, will tutor aspirant chefs in the fine art of international cuisine, drawing inspiration from Morocco, Vietnam, the British Isles, Indonesia and France.
Those who want to wow dinner party guests with exotic dishes, this is the course for you.
The mouth-watering lessons are four hours long, with one-on-one attention from Tomlin, as well as the opportunity to sample three of the four dishes you help to prepare. These dishes will be accompanied by matching wines. Learning about and feasting on superb cuisine ... what’s not to love?
