Cape Town surfing – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, Cape Town has waves to suit all types of surfers.

According to www.capetownactivities.co.uk, the more experienced riders will find the waves they’re looking for on the Atlantic Ocean, Fish Hoek or the infamous Long Beach.

If you’re still learning to surf, Surfers’ Corner in Muizenberg might suit you better.

Either way, there are waves aplenty for surfers in the Mother City.


The waves were very choppy on this particular day and a strong south-easter was blowing, but this is the perfect weather for kite-surfing at Sunrise Circle in Muizenberg.
