Prepare for a spectacle during Cape Town’s first Sailing Week. The Royal Cape and Hout Bay yacht clubs have pooled their resources to host this yacht-racing event, taking place from April 25 to May 3 in Hout Bay and Table Bay.

Public viewing will take place at Hout Bay harbour, Chapman’s Peak, Granger Bay and Signal Hill. Spectators can look forward to some exciting action and the winning boat crew will walk away with the “Admiral’s Sword” trophy.

So, take a drive or cycle down Chapman’s Peak for a stunning view on the way to the race at Hout Bay. Keep an ear out for the noon gun, which is fired every day at 12h00, except for Sundays, on Signal Hill.
