Those closest to England’s Prince William are rumoured to be considering Cape Town as a possible venue for his bachelor party.
The UK’s Daily Mail carried an article on January 4 which stated that the prince’s stag team, comprising his younger brother Harry and close friends Guy Pelly and Tom Inskip, was seriously looking at Cape Town as a location for a stag do.
The princes are no strangers to the city. Their last official visit was during the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, when they watched England play against Algeria at the Cape Town Stadium (to a goalless draw), and visited a group of disadvantaged children at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
Prince William will marry Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29. The Cape Town royal stag do is tipped to take place towards the end of March, and is likely to be one of many parties ahead of the big day.
