Cape Town requests proposals for visitor website and emarketing strategy

Cape Town Tourism requires the services of a suitably qualified company to be appointed on a 24 month performance based contract to take the current interim visitor website’s development forward to
integrate fully with the VMMS and attract and convert more leisure, business and events visitors to travel to Cape Town.

We simply want a fabulous, visitor friendly and interactive website that does justice to iconic Cape Town, whilst making use of the best technology and eMarketing tools available.

This website should be further developed with seamless and responsive integration with the VMMS database and systems. All the data contained within the VMMS must be available to Web visitors via
www.capetown.travel and visitors must be able to search, sort and filter by a selection of item specific criteria information. The technology chosen to make the VMMS available to external clients is SOAP.

Cape Town Tourism also requires the services of a suitably qualified company to be appointed on a 24 month performance based contract to formulate and implement innovative eMarketing campaigns in line with
international best practice, travel and tourism trends and the latest technology.

A proposal is requested detailing the types and timelines of campaigns you suggest and the costs involved in the implementation of them.
