Rhythm and blues star John Legend and songwriter Keri Hilson will be performing in the Grand Arena at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World in the Mother City this October.
As part of his most successful global tour yet, Legend is bringing his concert to South Africa. The American musician first captured the attention of millions of listeners around the world with the hit singles Ordinary People and Used to Love You, off his debut album, Get Lifted.
Legend has since won six Grammy Awards and released two albums ‒ Once Again and, most recently, Evolver, which features the single Green Light (in collaboration with Outkast’s André 3000). Fans can expect to hear these popular songs, accompanied by a 10-piece band, at the concert.
Hilson will be joining Legend on stage as his special guest. Her first album, In a Perfect World, recently debuted at number one on the R&B/hip-hop billboards.
The musical duo will perform on October 15, 2009. You can purchase your ticket from Computicket. Prices range from R243 to R321.
