Cape Town Festival of Beer - Photos

The Cape Town Festival of Beer was held at the Hamilton's Rugby Club on Greenpoint Common this past weekend. Capetonians who braved the wind were not disappointed as the festival delivered on its promise of quality beverages, loads of fun and non-stop partying.

Food stalls, a kids zone and plenty of beer were on hand for the thirsty. Darling Brew won overall best micro brew lager while Paulaner's Red Weiss won overall best craft brew on display.

Oompah bands kept the crowd entertained
There was a variety of food stalls so one would never go hungry
Beermaids were on hand to serve up lagers cold
A long drink after a hot, if not windy, day
The beer festival offered workshops and instructions on how to brew you own beer
Cheers to the weekend. A successful event was held with many patrons counting the months until next year
Some fun was had. Memorabilia such as mugs and caps (not in this pic) was available to commemorate the weekend
