Cape Town is the best place to be for the 2011 Easter weekend, with a range of activities to suit both adults and children. Public holidays on Friday, April 22 and Monday, April 25, give residents and visitors more time in the Mother City with lots to see and do.
Lindt will be transporting Easter bunnies around Cape Town in branded London cabs and hosting an Easter village at the V&A Waterfront from April 19 to 25. For more information about the Lindt Easter Village, phone +27 (0)21 408 7600. Various other activities at the V&A Waterfront will ensure entertainment for the whole family.
The Two Oceans Aquarium will be hosting an “Egg-citing family fun” programme from April 22 to May 2. This will include Easter egg hunts, snake shows, as well as various arts and crafts stalls. For more information, phone the Two Oceans Aquarium on +27 (0)21 418 3823 or visit their website.
Noordhoek Farm Village will be holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 23, which means children can be entertained while parents watch the Two Oceans Marathon runners pass by. For more information, phone Noordhoek Farm Village on +27 (0)21 789 1317.
