Cape Town is a city of soulful, sultry jazz sounds at this time of year. While the Cape Town International Jazz Festival only takes place once a year, the Mother City has many other top-notch jazz venues and tours to keep jazz lovers entertained throughout the year:

The Mahogany Room

This small, intimate jazz club that opened last December is already a firm favourite in jazz circles and, with its class and charm, it’s easy to see why. Drawing inspiration from some of the world’s top jazz clubs, this venue offers patrons an authentic, no-fuss jazz experience. Book early as seating is limited.

1800 Degrees – Cape Royale Luxury Hotel

This classy and contemporary grill house also plays host to a number of top-class jazz artists. Patrons can enjoy signature steak and meat dishes at their Alfresco Summer Jazz evenings,to the sounds of jazz musicians.

Winchester Mansions

This iconic venue situated on the Sea Point promenade, has been a top spot for years, offering patrons exclusive Sunday Jazz Brunches. Hosted in their tranquil courtyard, guests can look forward to great food and superb jazz. A complimentary glass of wine and the Sunday Times also awaits visitors. Booking is essential for this popular Sunday pastime.

Cape Town Jazz Safari
