Cape Town Tourism Facebook game wins Cannes Lions Gold

Cape Town Tourism's Facebook game, My Cape Town Holiday, picked up a Gold award at the 2013 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, in the Branded Content & Entertainment category. This comes within weeks of Cape Town Tourism picking up a Travel + Leisure award for Best Overall Use of Social Media.

The Cannes Festival of Creativity is held every year in France and is regarded as widely regarded as the world's largest advertising festival. Ogilvy & Mather Cape Town, who created the campaign "Send your Facebook Profile to Cape Town," are delighted with the award. After the announcement, @OgilvyCT tweeted:"Incredible,crazy happy!"
