What makes this route so special?

Sure you’ve heard this before but Cape Town truly is one of the most remarkable cities in the world. With majestic mountain peaks, lush vineyards, sandy white beaches and a buzzing inner city; here, you’re privileged to see a little bit of everything in one corner. The Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour enables riders to experience this vast natural beauty of the city from a different perspective, and the winding roads and dynamic terrain adds to the route’s special appeal.

The race takes place on the second Sunday of March and sees about 35 000 entrants each year. If you’re looking to participate, or to be a spectator of the race, be sure to check out our trusted travel partner in accommodation, Tsogo Sun.
