Beautiful places – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay
I’ve had a bit of time on my hands between job hunting and getting completely paranoid about what I’m going to do with my life, so I’ve been going out taking photographs of this beautiful place we live in!
Kayaking in Kommetjie
I came across the guy in a kayak as I was walking along the beach going towards Noordhoek, just as he was setting off past Kommetjie. I looked at the sun in the sky, the blue of the ocean, the mountains, the mist in the background, and I wondered if anyone could ask for more?
Chilling at Boulders
The picture of this chap sitting on a rock with his friends snorkelling around him was taken from the wooden path between Boulders Beach and the penguin colony. It reminded me of swimming in the rocky coves in southern Thailand.
Dreaming on Long Beach
This little girl staring out to sea was taken on Noordhoek Beach. She seemed so completely oblivious of anything going on around her, knee-deep in salt water, little fingers outstretched ... living it, loving it!
Running freely at St James
This little boy had just got out of the tidal pool at St James and was running to get his towel. I loved his long dreads ... a little Marley mini-me!
