Bafana Bafana continued their winning ways when they beat Denmark 1-0 at Super Stadium in Tshwane this afternoon.
Striker Katlego Mphela scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute, to give the South African team and supporters much confidence going into the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. South Africa’s first match is in the World Cup’s opening game against Mexico at Soccer City in Soweto on Friday.

In Cape Town, 2010 FIFA World Cup™ fever has clearly arrived. Soccer fans from across the Mother City are flooding local shops to purchase football merchandise and show their support.
At the V&A Waterfront this afternoon, hundreds of fans gathered at the amphitheatre and screamed every time Bafana Bafana came close to scoring. When one was finally netted, the Waterfront erupted in celebration, giving an indication of the festivities to come in the next few weeks.
