Penguin chicks on Boulders Beach – Flickr pic of the day
Liquidpremium says, “This photo of baby African penguins was taken at Boulders Beach.
“Cape Town is a photographer’s paradise. It’s really an anomaly, a place where nature seems to have planted surprises in abundance around every corner. There are few places on earth that compare and none that I can think of in such close proximity to a major urban area that offer such an amazing display of wildlife,” he adds.
At Boulders Beach visitors can see a breeding colony of African penguins at close range. These flightless birds roam around the area freely, so you can get close to them, but please don’t disturb them. They can bite!
