I had not been to the Two Oceans Aquarium since its opening, and last Sunday, being at a loss on what to do, I took a drive on my scooter and landed up at the V&A Waterfront.

I decided to take a tour of the aquarium and oh boy, was I glad that I did.

R100 entry for adults (check the website for all prices) is not bad for an all-day excursion. And you can come and go all day.

I would highly recommend taking the kids for a day trip; it’s highly educational and there is so much to see that they will be entertained for hours.

I reckon the highlight of anyone’s trip to the Two Oceans Aquarium is without a doubt, the feeding of the sharks at the Predator Exhibit. I will be going back again.
