At the foot of greatness: University of Cape Town – a photo essay
Founded in 1829, the University of Cape Town (UCT) is the oldest and one of the most prestigious learning institutions in South Africa.
Resting at the foot of Devil’s Peak, UCT incorporates the Faculties of Science, Engineering, Commerce and Humanities.
The campus houses the wisdom of ages past and imparts knowledge to young minds within the walls of its ivy covered buildings.
The university also features 36 different sports clubs and 80 student societies, which ensure that each student is presented with a holistic educational experience.
