The 2013 Absa Cape Epic starts with the 22 kilometre prologue at Meerendal Wine Estate in Durbanville on Sunday. Riding will start at 06h45 and cyclists are expected to complete the rugged course within three hours.

The first stage of the race then takes place on Monday, with a 103 kilometre ride that starts in Citrusdal. Riders will be required to complete one stage every day, with the sevent and final stage ending at Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West on Sunday, March 24.

The Absa Cape Epic will be broadcast live around the world. Viewers in South Africa can enjoy the action on various SuperSport channels every day.

If you wish to follow riders along the route but haven't yet booked any accommodation, read our blog about where to stay along the route.

Visit the Absa Cape Epic website for more information about the route, the riders and more.
