A walk in Cecilia ForestNov 23, 2009
On the Cape Peninsula, we are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to leisure activities – particularly when it comes to the many walks we can do in the Table Mountain National Park.
After the recent rains, my family and I went for a gentle stroll through the Cecilia Forest.

There are various well designated footpaths to choose from in the forest. We even pushed a pram (with a sleeping toddler in it) along the footpath!

Walking between these tall trees while listening to the rustling leaves and birdsong, one realises that there is something magical about this forest.
Of course, we didn’t forget to stop at the mountain streams and top up our water supply.

Come on out for a stroll. All you need is your water bottle, a friend (two- or four-legged) and a spare hour to commune with nature, check out the sights and maybe even “capture” a butterfly or two.
