A sunny Saturday at Kirstenbosch – Photos
Saturday, June 19 was a good day to be outdoors – if you happened to be in the Southern Suburbs, that is. While the overcast and windy conditions in the City Bowl made it a day for staying inside, on the other side of the mountain families flocked to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden for a lazy day in the sun. You can see the beautiful sterlizia, indigenous to South Africa, all over Kirstenbosch. Some of the flowers are blooming at the moment and to observe them in their various phases is a colourful delight
