A moment to shine – Flickr pic of the day

Portrait of a Cape Point Ostrich

This photograph of an ostrich posing for a portrait at Cape Point was taken by our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member Andrew aka andreweve42.

Andrew says, “I took my boys down to Cape Point to see the most south-westerly point. It was a lovely winter’s day, with scuttling clouds and a fresh, north-westerly wind. Besides the inevitable baboons, there were a whole lot of ostrich there ... This one looked at me and I got a pic with the ocean in the background. It was only when I loaded it on my Mac that I saw that the wings had formed a small, heart shape under the body.”
