Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden: A paradise of plants and flowers in photos
The poet Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "the Earth laughs in flowers". If this is true, then the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden must be one of the happiest places on Earth.
Brimming with indigenous fynbos and colourful blooms, the garden is a popular attraction for tourists and locals alike. It's a place to find peace, enjoy picnics and experience the occasional open-air concert.
