Cape Town water adventures

Cape Town’s Peninsula and inland waterways offer perfect locations for trying your hand at an array of water activities. Our city is known as a leisure destination, and many of the activities are leisurely in nature – but there are also plenty of the adrenalin-rush variety, from kitesurfing to cable water skiing.

Grand Chef, Master Chef!

Cape Town always has a little something happening with a creativity and flare that we love to share with the world. This time it’s culinary genius that is in the spotlight. Sue-Ann Allen, runner up of the successful Masterchef SA 2012, will further her culinary skills by doing a month’s internship with Peter Tempelhoff at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel’s Greenhouse Restaurant.

You don’t need a potjie, you need Cape Town!

An annual potjiekos competition is held at Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel, Long Street, Cape Town. In it’s fourth year, this competition is a firm favourite among regular entrants and anyone looking for a good party to start off the weekend. Cape Town Tourism entered a team this yea that, on Thursday, April 19, 2012, proved its potjie was the tastiest when they walked away with first prize.
