Rob PetersCape Town played host to yet another sold-out show this past weekend with 30 Seconds to Mars packing the Grand West Casino on Sunday night. Frontman Jared Leto may not have been quite as active as fellow singer John Legend, but he still managed to snap a couple of pics – and post a video - to Instagram, chronicling his time in the Mother City. To be fair, the group didn’t spent quite as long in town as the R&B crooner, but it’s still pretty clear that the city worked its magic on Leto.
FeaturedCommuters on the MyCITI rapid bus service will have more reason to jump on board with the City of Cape Town planning to offer free Wi-Fi. According to a report on BDLive, the city is conducting a pilot project which will allow access to the Wi-Fi while travelling or waiting at various stations in and around Cape Town. The news comes on the back of the city’s announcement on Thursday that it has entered into a partnership with Orange Wi-Fi service to provide Wi-Fi to people living in parts of Khayelitsha and Mitchell’s Plain.
Rob PetersR&B singer John Legend was a hit in Cape Town with three sold-out shows and it looks like the Mother City left its mark on him as well. The legendary crooner and his wife – model Chrissy Teigen – were posting up on storm on Instagram as they captured their travels in the city this week, from yacht trips and show-time selfies, to more intimate moments on tour. John, you legend, thanks for coming, and hopefully we see you again soon!

The 2013 Absa Cape Epic starts with the 22 kilometre prologue at Meerendal Wine Estate in Durbanville on Sunday. Riding will start at 06h45 and cyclists are expected to complete the rugged course within three hours.

Hundreds of semi-naked cyclists took part in the 2013 Cape Town Naked Bike Ride, to raise awareness for various causes, as well as to have a laugh and appreciate Cape Town’s cycling set up.
Chapman’s Peak is on the western side of the Cape Peninsula, between Hout Bay and Noordhoek. Chapman’s Peak Drive, between the two suburbs, is one of Cape Town’s most scenic roads, twisting and turning high above the rugged coastline.

The Holi One Festival took place on the Grand Parade in Cape Town yesterday. An assortment of muscians performed throughout the afternoon and evening, while an even larger assortment of colours were released into the air every hour.
