#LoveCapeTown top 20 finalists announced!

Matt Long has been on a whirlwind trip to Cape Town this past week as part of Cape Town Tourism’s #LoveCapeTown iAmbassadors campaign. Unlike the other iAmbassadors, this is Matt’s first time to Cape Town, which he says is similar to Sydney, possibly better.

Cape Town Tourism hosted its first twitter chat on Sunday, July 29, and Capetonians proved that they know their beloved city best, when thousands suggested what the iAmbassador travel bloggers should do while in the Mother City. The chat was to welcome the four renowned international travel bloggers Cape Town Tourism are hosting. The bloggers will explore Cape Town and act as digital spokespersons for Cape Town.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town is in full swing showcasing design perfection at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). What can we expect for the Summer/Spring 2012 season? It seems fun, flirty with a throwback to bygone eras are on the cards, with the runways also displaying a love of bold colours and prints.

Top three weekend picks for Cape Town

The winter months have seen a drop in temperature but entertainment is definitely heating up. There’s so much to see, do and explore in Cape Town this winter, from catching a show or local movie or exploring unknown parts of our city. It’s difficult to choose what to do in this cosmopolitan city of ours and with so few hours in a day, seeing them all in a short space of time poses a challenge.
